What’s Up People!
Let me tell you my story.
At School of Soham I’m the simple and playful one around. I bring balance to the complex stuff. I’m responsible for team building games, sports, physical activity, and playful sessions to help ease and warm up our participants. When it’s not about fun, I am also available to assist with social media and registering participants at our events. I am pretty much an all-rounder.
Being a student feels like a full-time job without any salary. I think most students can relate to this. But. I know that studying will bring me different opportunities, so I have to finish my studies. I want to make my parents proud.
At the age of 5, I was already into adventure and mischief. I started playing soccer in my neighborhood and since then I never looked back. This made me a good asset to my teams at school. I’ve won several competitions with different teams in less than 3 years.
I was basically adopted by those whom I looked up to. Inspiration after inspiration came and I wanted to put my hands on everything I got. I picked up playing guitar and got the chance to perform several times as well.
Many people looked at me to be the little one around and never took me seriously. Some people even looked down on me, but I never gave up. I had moments where I felt like giving up because of the negative ideas. Doubt of others made me doubt myself, but then I realized that I will ignore everyone and focus on myself. It was a rough time. I wanted to give up the guitar and lost interest in soccer.
The Right Company
In the right company, I could learn a thing or two and my motivation became steady. I had a choice of joining bad friends, but I did not. Some friends were into alcohol and I could be influenced by them but I avoided them. I made the right choice and it changed my life for the better, otherwise you would not be reading this right now.
My Super Self
I have a clear picture of what I want to become. I want to graduate from high school, practice guitar, singing, photography, massage therapy, coaching, writing, and cooking.
I want to do better in sports and fitness. It is my wish to stay fit & healthy as long as I can.
I learn to teach and while teaching I learn a lot. I want to write motivational texts or make inspiring videos so I can set an example for others. I want to open up the hearts of my audience. I believe, I can be the best in what I do through constant improvement wherever needed. I feel it’s my duty to help others grow so that keeps me sharp. I never believed that I could be wherever I am right now and this is just the beginning.
I am honored to be a part of something bigger than myself. A life of purpose is the right way for me. I want to keep an open mind to see what life has in store. In the meantime, I am shaping myself to be the best version of myself.
Since I am the youngest one, I’m pampered by Awinash, Kripa and Satish. It's a blessing to work together with them, because it never feels like work. I have space to create my own identity.
I want to look at myself after 10 years of hard work and say: ‘Because I made the right choices, invested in life skills and educated myself, I feel fulfilled and life has meaning.’
